Ferrari and Fortnite teased a collaboration earlier this week and on Friday it was made official. The Ferrari 296 GTB is now currently in Fortnite and players can use it to drive around the game’s massive multiplayer map.
In addition to bringing the Ferrari 296 to the game, Fortnite also created a trio of challenges for players to complete. The challenges include time trials, reaching maximum speed, and driving the car through the massive storm on the map.
There is also a set of accessories players can buy for their in-game avatar including a Modena player icon, Maranello Racer Outfits, and Ferrari Turbo Back Bling.
There is a bit of a catch. Players won’t just have the Ferrari 296 GTB accessible to them at the start of a Fortnite session. They have to find it first. Furthermore, there will only be a few Ferraris on the map in each session so there will definitely be competition to get to the cars first.
How to find the Ferrari in Fortnite
The most likely places to find the Ferrari 296 GTB in Fortnite are Believer Beach and Lazy Lakes according to research by PCGamer.com.
At Believer Beach, a Ferrari was found in the hotel parking lot on the east side of the town. PC Gamer also speculated that a Ferrari may spawn at the gas station on the west side of the town.
At Lazy Lakes, PC Gamer believes that the Ferrari will spawn at the gas station or car dealership location.
