Hot Wheels Unleashed isn’t even out yet but it is already after our hearts. We realize we’re dating ourselves here but we are 80s kids. We’re old enough to have seen the Back To The Future films on their opening weekends. We also watched shows like Knight Rider and the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon religiously on our 300-pound definitely not flat screen TVs.
So, you can imagine how happy we were when a brand new Hot Wheels Unleashed trailer dropped this morning announcing that the die-cast versions of the Back To The Future DeLorean, the “Party Wagon” from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, “K.I.T.T.” from Knight Rider, a Snoopy hot rod, and the freakin’ Batmobile are all coming to the game.
We haven’t seen some of the aforementioned Hot Wheels die-cast cars in a very long time so being able to play with them in this game is bound to bring back some of the nostalgia feels.
In addition to those iconic cars from tv and film, a new crop of manufacturer cars were revealed as well. Here’s the list:
• Audi R8 Spyder
• Audi Sport Quattro
• ’55 Chevy
• Copo Camaro
• ’71 El Camino
• ’69 Dodge Charger Daytona
• RAM 1500 Rebel
• FIAT 500
• ’32 Ford
• 1956 Ford Truck
• 2018 Ford Mustang GT
• Honda S2000
• 2020 Koenigsegg Jesko
• Mini Cooper S Challenge
