The 2021 Formula Drift season will come to a close this weekend. After the tight back and fourth battle at the top of the points between Matt Field, Chelsea DeNofa, and Fredric Aasbo, we are finally going to see a champion crowned.

Aasbo comes into the Irwindale weekend with a 19 point lead on DeNofa with Field being 39 points back. There is no room for error for either of the top three drivers. The slightest mistake or worse, a mechanical issue, can cost them their shot at the 2021 Formula Drift championship.
