Gotta Go Veloce! Lamborghini Revuelto Collabs With Sonic And Knuckles

In what I’d file under “random cool stuff from my social feed,” I came across this neat little collaboration between Lamborghini and SEGA. The Italian Supercar maker and the legendary video game brand teamed up to create what Lamobrghini calls a “special edition” of a Reveulto. The supercar has a custom wrap featuring SEGA’s iconic “blue blur” Sonic the Hedgehog and his “frenemy,” Knuckles the Echidna. The Revuelto is Lamborghini’s current flagship model and pairs a naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors which combine to make 1,001 horsepower and 739 ft-lb of torque. I won’t make the “spicy meatball” joke, but you have to admit it would be an adpt application in this instance.

The $600k supercar is covered with a custom wrap that splits the vehicle down the middle with one half featuring Sonic and the other half featuring Knunckles. The car was displayed in the kid’s area of the Bologna FC 1909 stadium. There isn’t much info I can find about this special edition Lamborghini Revuelto at the moment but I definitely have questions. Such as if the theming extends to the interior of the vehicle? I’m guessing that SEGA has a promotional partnership with the nearly 120-year-old Futbol team which could be what sparked the colaboration, but I’d certainly like to know more.

Though, there could be a chance that it really is as simple as a quick one-off vinyl wrap to display for a weekend or two at the arena. Or it could be part of a bigger collaboration that may see other Lamborghini models adnored with more characters from the Sonic universe. Either way, I’m going to reach out to the parties involved and see if I can get some answers. For now check out these images of the Sonic and Knuckles Lamborghini Reveulto and let me know what other supercar you’d like to see get the video game vinyl wrap treatment.
