GRID Legends Gameplay Revealed
The announcement of GRID Legends kicked off the EA Play event back in July 2021. We were surprised to see the new GRID game make its appearance since EA Play happened very shortly after EA acquired Codemasters.
GRID Legends promised a brand new story mode featuring live-action scenes that were filmed in a projected digital environment similar to the technique used in The Mandalorian Disney Plus show. Beyond that, there was not very much information provided.
Today that all changed. Codemasters and EA have unleashed GRID Legends gameplay and even a release date.

The video above features the first released gameplay footage of GRID Legends straight from Codemasters and includes a deep dive with the game’s director Chris Smith. The presentation doesn’t cover everything but you will walk away with a decent understanding of what you can expect from GRID Legends when it releases next year.
When does GRID Legends come out?
GRID Legends will release February 25th, 2022 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC according to a press release from Codemasters and EA released this morning.
Pre-orders are available now but it doesn’t appear that there is an option for early access with said pre-order. However, pre-orders do come with a DLC car pack that includes the Aston Martin Vantage GT4, Porsche 962C, Ginetta G55 GT4, and Koenigsegg Jesko.
Pre-orders also receive exclusive Ravenwest-focused Career events and exclusive Seneca and Ravenwest team icons, liveries, and banners.
