After his oscar-worthy analysis of the Pink 2Fast 2Furious Honda S2000, Doug DeMuro is back to aiming his investigative gaze at rare and exotic cars. In his latest video Doug spends some quality time with the incredibly rare Lamborghini Centenario roadster.
Lamborghini only produced 40 Centenario’s total with 20 being coupes and the other half roadsters as seen here.
Fun fact: I was actually lucky enough to spend some quality time with a Lamborghini Centenario myself when it first debuted in 2016. It was on display at E3 as it was the cover car for Forza Horizon 3.
Though the Centenario I hung out with was a coupe. I’ve never seen a roadster up close and considering its 3 million dollar price tag, Doug’s video is probably the closest I’ll ever get.
By the way the Centenario roadster actually had an MSRP of 2.2 million dollars when it was first released; though I’m sure its rarity is what caused its current value to jump up to 3 million.
If you have about 30 minutes to spare then I would recommend you go on a journey with Doug as he explores the “quirks and features” of the Lamborghini Centenario.
There are plenty of pretty interesting facts that I didn’t know about. For example the roadster doesn’t come with a roof. Obviously it is a roadster but I mean there is no included hard cover that you stow away or even a temporary cloth cover. Nothing!
So yeah, if you happen to buy a 3 million dollar Centenario, don’t drive it if you think it’s going to rain. I’ll let you learn the rest of the fun facts in the video below.
