Codemasters F1 2018 First Gameplay Trailer Released

Even though F1 2018 from Codemasters doesn’t come out until August 24th, we’re starting to get more glimpses of what to expect when we get our hands on it.

Recently, Codemasters revealed the first look at actual gameplay in a trailer featuring Charles Leclerc taking a lap around Monaco in a virtual version of his Sauber Alfa Romeo C37.

From what we can see, the gameplay looks pretty good. The textures on the car seem to be more detailed and the environments look pretty good as well.

Though, there is one thing missing. Clearly, the biggest change for F1 cars in 2018 is the inclusion of the “HALO” protection device.

I really wanted to see how this game would handle cockpit view with HALO-equipped cars but we don’t get that in this trailer.

Hopefully we’ll get a chance to see what that looks like when we play F1 2018 at E3 next month. In the meantime, check out the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments below or tweet to us at @MotorworldHype.
