Hype: EA To Announce A New “Need For Speed” Game At E3 2017

Not too long ago EA rebooted their flagship racing franchise Need For Speed (NFS) fresh off their “every other year” strategy.  The reboot was mostly well received but it wasn’t perfect and it had its share of short comings.  We know now that EA is getting ready to present their next installment in the NFS franchise at their EA Play event which will take place June 10th thru June 12th 2017, which is roughly same time as the E3 video game convention.  However, EA Play will be held on its own site at the Hollywood Palladium.

Unfortunately, we don’t know much else beyond that.  There are certainly a lot of questions we have about it though.  What will it be called?  Will it be open world?  Will Porsche still be involved?

The good news is, you may have a chance to find out for yourself as the EA Play event will be open to the public.  Tickets go on sale on April 20th, 2017 and will likely sell-out fast so you can visit the EA Play website right now to register for email updates.

In the meantime, if we get any more info on the new NFS game we’ll let you know!
