AEM Series 2 Plug & Play EMS For Toyota Supra Turbo & Non Turbo
AEM just dropped a sleek new EMS earlier this week. The new “Series 2″ EMS has a whole textbook’s worth of extra features over the original EMS. Despite the extras the unit itself is actually 26mm shorter than the previous EMS which can make mounting the unit a little easier. Right now the new Series 2 EMS is only available for the Toyota Supra Turbo and non-turbo but I’d expect AEM to roll out more applications in the near future.

Now, if you have 10 minutes to kill you can check out the video below that details all the new features of the Series 2 narriated by a very nice monotonic man.

Weds Sport SA-97F
This is a nice piece from Weds Sport called the SA-97F. It has a split 7 spoke design that curves out a bit as it grows towards the lip. This wheel almost reminds me of the AME Tracer TM-02 but its just different enough to have its own flavor. Definitely a nice wheel indeed..

HKS Legamax Premium Exhaust For BMW 07-08 BMW 335i
I never thought I’d see the day when BMW owners would be talking about intercoolers, blow-off valves, and HKS exhausts; yet here we are! With the addition of some turbos to their line up BMW really opened the aftermarket flood gates and HKS is getting well aquainted to BMW’s new coupe. As you can see in the picture above the BMW 335i is sporting an HKS Legamax Premium exhaust with titanium tips and it just looks so comfortable there!

MINE’S 350Z Racing Shift Harness
This product earns my personal “WIN of the day” award. Ever since OEM’s start equipping cars with “sport shift” it annoyed me to no end that they always had the shift sequence backwards (pushing up to shift up and pulling back to shift down). In any real sequential transmission you pull back to shift up! Ugh! Anyway if you happen to have an automatic 350Z with sport shift and you’re tired of shifting backwards you can equip this racing shift harness from MINE’s and it will change the shifting to the correct sequential method. I wish they had this for all sport shift cars!

Sparco SPY05
If you don’t quite have the green to pick up the Titan-ADV the SPY05 is a nice alternative. It comes in at just 700 bucks (compared to the $1,100 price tag of the Titan) but is still SA2005 rated and comes with all the appropriate clips to install a HANS device.

LEGO Automotive Art
Sometimes despite how much we may want something, we just can’t have it. For a lot of car enthusiasts that unattainable object is typically a supercar of either Italian or American origin. However some people feel that the next best thing to owning a supercar is to create one of your own. LEGO artist Firas Abu-Jaber constructed detailed replicas of some of our favorite exotic cars purely from LEGO blocks! He didn’t start out from a set people he hunted for all the right pieces to create the cars the way he wanted them to be and they look amazing. If you want to see more of his work simply head over to MOCPages. You won’t be disappointed.

Hype Video: Spy Footage Of Audi R8 Spyder @ Nurburgring
It looks like Audi has decided to drop the top on what many consdier the world’s most livable super car: the R8. I found some Nurburgring spy footage of Audi taking the R8 Spyder through its paces at the Nurburgring. I’m not sure if it has the current 420HP V8 or if its running the new V10 diesel but either way it looks awesome carving through the turns.

Cobb Tuning Front Mount Intercooler Kit For Mazdaspeed3
The current generation Mazdaspeed3 is an awesome ride. However if it has one flaw it’s the fact that its turbocharged engine has a top mount intercooler but there isn’t a hood scoop to feed it cool air. Mazda fixed this issue for the new Mazdaspeed3 which will make its debut at the end of the year. But, if you have a current generation Mazdaspeed3 and you want to fix this issue then look no further than Cobb Tuning’s front mount intercooler kit. It comes with all the hardware you need to successfully mount a large core intercooler right behind the front air dam. If you really want to go stealth you could always powdercoat the intercooler flat black.

Hype Event: Ken Block Gymkhana TWO Premiere
At the tail end of yesterday I let you guys know that I was going to try and ninja my way into a super tight private event for the premiere of Ken Block’s Gymkhana TWO video. Well I’m here to tell you….MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! I actually mean it too! I’m not pulling a “Dubbya” on you. Thanks to our good friend Bill Wood I was able to make my way in.
It all went down at a secret location in the Port Of Los Angeles that looked like the kind of place where mafiosos would “tie up loose ends” if you know what I mean.
But instead of someone getting fitted for some cement shoes there was a DJ, an open bar, excellent food, and a big movie screen. Oh and one more thing…Ken Block giving ride alongs in his new Gymkhana battle machine.
It was an awesome event and at 8pm I was included in a small group that got to see the new Gymkhana TWO project video before anyone else. According to Block what we saw was a “draft” that was “80% done” but you wouldn’t know it by watching. I’ll tell you right now the new flick is FRESH! I saw some things that I didn’t think anyone would dare to try and pull off in a vehicle.
Another note to add is that this time around Ken and DC Shoes decided to use this opportunity to introduce the world to their new “Teamworks Collection.” As such, Ken and his crew have referred to this new video as “The Best Informercial Ever.”
Despite the absense of the oxy clean guy it really does live up to the title of best infomercial ever! I wish I could tell you more but we promised Ken to keep mum on the video until it makes its debut on June 1st. Trust me it will be worth the wait!
