Danger to Manifold! PUMA x Fast and Furious Collection Drops Online
It’s finally happened, the Fast Saga has a shoe deal. PUMA just revealed its Fast & Furious collection online with apparel that references hero cars from the first two films and car culture of the early 2000s.
The collection features four pairs of shoes, each referencing a different vehicle. The Puma x Fast & Furious MB.05 LA is based on the iconic orange Toyota Supra Turbo, the Puma x Fast & Furious LaFrancé RNR LA is based on the 1970 Dodge Charger, and the Puma x Fast & Furious LA Speedcat is based on the neon green Mitsubishi Eclipse.
The Puma x Fast & Furious MB.05 Miami references the bright pink Honda S2000 from 2 Fast 2 Furious, and the Puma x Fast & Furious LaFrancé Miami is based on the silver and blue Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R also seen in 2 Fast 2 Furious.
Each shoe is available in adult and “big kid” sizes, so the whole family can match. See what I did there? Family? Anyway…
The collection also includes additional apparel: a workwear jacket, a hoodie, a layered long-sleeve shirt, basketball shorts, sweatpants, and a trio of shirts. Each piece features the Fast & Furious logo, film characters, and vehicles.
As far as I can tell, this was a surprise drop by Puma, and so far, everything in the collection is still available. Though I’m not sure how long that will be the case. The franchise is celebrating its 26th anniversary this year, with a theme park ride set to open in the fall, so fans who want to celebrate should probably pick up their gear while they still can.
What do you think of the Puma x Fast & Furious collection? Are you into it? Or does this collection need more NOS, underglow neon, and higher aluminum wings to earn your interest? Let me know in the comments or on Threads.
