LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 Revealed (Video)

LEGO has been teasing their partnership with Lamborghini for quite a while now and it looks like their Lamborghini Speed Champions sets were just a taste of things to come. Today LEGO finally revealed what they have been working on: a 1:8 scale LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 set.

If you’re unaware the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 is a limited edition Lamborghini revealed at the 2019 Frankfurt Motorshow. It has a combined horsepower of 807 from its V12 hybrid powertrain and a 220mph top speed.

The “37” in the name denotes the fact that only 37 examples of the Sián FKP will be produced. All of which were promptly paid for and reserved right as the car was revealed last year.

This quite literally means this LEGO Technic set is the closest the rest of us will ever come to owning one. Speaking of which, this LEGO Technic set is really detailed for something made from plastic tubes and bricks.

First, the entire set is composed of 3,696 pieces in total which is almost 100 pieces more than the Bugatti Chiron set. That amount of pieces allows the set designers to include really cool details such as a fully functioning 8-speed transmission with a working paddle shifter!

Before you ask, yes that transmission is mated to a working V12 engine. A functioning rear wing that can be raised and lowered and scissor doors bring even more detail. If that weren’t enough, to really drive the point home, the set even includes LEGO versions of the included Lamborghini luggage that comes with the Sián FKP 37.

Finally, each set comes with a special LEGO brick that unlocks video content for owners to watch while building their set.

So, how can you get your hands on one of your own? As you may have guessed this set is not going to be cheap. The LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 set will retail for $379.99. Though that price is much better than the multi-million dollar price tag for the real thing.

The set will be available starting June 1st, 2020. The set will be available at the select physical LEGO stores that are able to reopen after following local regulations. Though it will also be available online for those who can’t go to a LEGO store.
