F1 Hype: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Quick Result

The final F1 race of the season took place over the weekend so yeah, if you missed it, it was kind of important!  Either way, just in case you need to know the results I have them for you below as well as who captured the 2016 championship!

WARNING!!! SPOILERS BELOW!

2016 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix results:

1st: Lewis Hamilton
2nd: Nico Rosberg
3rd: Sebastian Vettel

2016 Formula One Drivers Championship:

1st: Nico Rosberg 385 points (Champion!)
2nd: Lewis Hamilton 380 points
3rd: Daniel Riccardo 256 points

Well, there you have it; Nico Rosberg is the 2016 Formula One World Champion!  Despite a magnificent effort by Lewis Hamilton to make what would have been a historic comeback, he just couldn’t quite catch his teammate in the end.  It’s been an exciting season to watch and we’re looking forward to 2017!
