KW Clubsport Coilovers For Nissan GT-R

The guys at KW Automotive are like magical ninjas when it comes to developing new stuff.  I swear that they’re building prototype variant for cars that dont exist yet.  What you see above is their clubsport package for the new Nissan GT-R.  By KW standards this set up is coming out a bit late but for good reason.  It takes a little extra time to develop a coilover for an advanced car like the GT-R that gives good enough peformance over stock without totally screwing up the ride quality.  This setup is top-shelf but my favorite part is that the MSRP is under $5k!  Generally that might be a lot but compared to other suspension offerings for the GT-R anything under $5k is a steal.  Good job guys!

KW suspensions announces their Clubsport coilover for the Nissan GTR.

The KW Clubsport has been developed for the enthusiast who requires a more aggressive setup for racetrack events with mild street use. The Clubsport are outfitted with high quality racing top mounts, increased spring rates, tuned valving and large diameter piston rods. All applications feature adjustable (and independent reacting) rebound and compression damping for a personalized performance driving setup. The Nissan GTR KW Clubsport kit lowers the vehicle 10-30mm on the front axles and 15-35mm on the rear axles.

Important characteristics such as quality and performance are all taken into consideration with each KW coilover design. Each vehicle application is specifically designed and engineered for a proper range of motion, min/max weight loads and min/max lowering. All these requirements are met while retaining it’s performance handling characteristics. Each KW coilover suspension is produced with unique stainless steel “inox-line” technology. The stainless steel construction internally and externally provides long term durability and corrosion resistance from the elements.
