LEGO Technic Fast And Furious Dodge Charger Coming!

My name is Andrew and I am a LEGO-holic. I can’t get enough of those colorful plastic bricks. Something about seeing things in LEGO form just pulls me in, especially when it comes to automotive LEGO sets. I have so many SPEED Champions sets that I haven’t even put them all together yet.

That’s why I was pretty pumped when LEGO announced back in January that they were entering into a partnership with Universal Pictures to produce Fast & Furious themed sets. Today is the official kick off as LEGO revealed a Technic set of Dom’s Charger from the first Fast & Furious movie.

This particularly awesome because “Technic” sets tend to be more detailed than other LEGO kits. For example, the Dom’s Dodge Charger kit is over 1,000 pieces and features a working V8 engine, suspension, and even two LEGO nitrous (AKA “Nawwsss”) bottles in the trunk!

You can pre-order the set now for $99 and it will start shipping on April 27th. My guess is that this set was supposed to ride the marketing wave for F9: The Fast Saga but since that movie was pushed back due to COVID-19, I figured LEGO and Universal figured this was a better time than ever to get this kit out to people.

Are you going to pre-order this set? What Fast & Furious cars do you want to see in LEGO form? Let me know in the comments below or tweet to us at @MotorworldHype.

In the meantime just click the thumbnails for pictures of the set and check out a short video below.
