What if I told you that there was a car that was designed by a company that also made fighter jets?  What if I told you those same fighter-jet-inspired cars were also extremely safe to drive?

Sounds pretty awesome right?  Well guess what buttercup that car really existed!  SAAB was a Swedish fighter jet company that transitioned to building cars after World War II.

They have made some pretty sweet vehicles in their time and while they never quite had the successes of other European OEM’s like Mercedes Benz, BMW, or Volkswagen, they did manage to build quite the cult following.
