This weekend is likely to be one of the most significant weekends of drifting in a very long time.  Allow me to list the reasons why:

1. This is officially the last round of the season.  With China event cancelled, Irwindale is the last round of the Pro and World Championship

2. Since China was canceled and Irwindale is the final round for both Championships its worth DOUBLE POINTS!

3. Sadly, this could very well be the last Formula Drift event to happen at Irwindale Speedway as it is very likely that its going to be demolished to build a outlet mall.
