Movie Hype: Michael Bay Confirms “Transformers 4” Is Coming In 2014
Today in an announcement that made half the world shudder and the other half excited, the infamous Michael Bay confirmed on his own website that he has just signed a deal with Paramount Pictures to direct a fourth “Transformers” movie. As soon as he is done with a film starring Mark Walberg and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson he will begin work on the next adventure staring Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.
It is unlikely that any of the human cast, namely Shia La Bouf will return. So if you are a fan of Shia (or you hate him) this could be good news either way (depending on how much you love Michael Bay’s films).
There is no news on if the writers from the first three films will return or what the plot of the next film will be. However, if Michael is smart he will look to the success of Transformers video games such as “War On Cybertron” and take the story back to the Autobot’s home planet.
What do you guys think of this story? Are you excited for another Transformers flick or does this news make you want to scoop your own eyes out? Feel free to express yourself in the comments.
