LEGO Aston Martin DB5 007 Set Revealed (Video)

Well it looks like the rumors were true and that Aston Martin set that LEGO teased a while back is in fact a 1:8 scale replica of the 1964 DB5 featured in the James Bond film Goldfinger.

The set was revealed today, somewhat secretively as currently the set is only available for purchase by LEGO VIP members. Though that isn’t a huge deal because its free to sign up for the VIP program.

While this set isn’t as elaborate or detailed as the LEGO “Technic” sets like the Bugatti Chiron or the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, this Aston Martin set still has all important features that make it a “Bond” car.

For example, there is a working ejector seat, revolving number plate, even the “machine guns” make an appearance!

Under the hood is a replica of the 4.0 liter inline six cylinder engine and inside you’ll find more Bond gadgets like a radar tracker and telephone.

In total the set is made up of 1295 pieces, so it shouldn’t take more than a day or so to put it together. The LEGO DB5 will retail for $149.99 once its released which isn’t a bad price honestly.

If you are a LEGO VIP and want to order one now just visit this section of the online LEGO store.
