Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Revealed
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae is the Aventador’s drive off into the Italian supercar sunset.
Easily the most “angry” looking of all the recent Lamborghinis, the Aventador has sat at the top of the range of what the Italian brand has to offer. It’s flashy, angular styling evoked the 80s opulence that was personified by the Countach but with a more “serious” vibe.

The Aventador is a personal favorite of ours and we’re sad to see it go but it’s send off model is something to be marveled. The Lamborghini Aventadaor LP 780-4 Ultimae is the most powerful Aventador ever produced. It is also the last Lamborghini to be motivated purely by combustion engine power.

Lamborghini’s iconic V12 isn’t going away yet but future versions of it will all be paired with an electric motor. Though, that’s the future. Let’s talk about the V12 found in the Lamborghini LP 780-4 Ultimae (damn, that’s a long name!).
The 6.5 liter ‘Longitudinale Posteriore’ (LP) engine makes 780 CV (769 horsepower) hence the “780” in it’s name. That makes the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae more powerful than the Aventador S and the Aventador SVJ.
A grand total of 720 Nm (531 ft-lbs) of torque is generated by the high strung V12 and can move the car from a standstill to 60 mph in well under 3 seconds.
All of the power is sent to all four wheels through it’s permanent all-wheel-drive system which is where the “4” comes from in the “780-4”.
Styling
The Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae still looks very much like an Aventador but with the volume turned up a bit. It is not quite as aggressive as the SVJ model but a glance will tell the initiated that the car is a step above the Aventador S.
The front end has been reworked with a new splitter and additional aero elements. The side air scoops have been flared out in a fashion similar to the SVJ for increased airflow.
Finally, while the rear of the car does not get an enormous wing, it does receive a rear diffuser which should help keep the Lamborghini planted during high-speed runs.
There will be two models of the Lamborghini Aventador 780-4 Ultimae available: the coupe and the roadster.
The coupe will come in a grey-on-grey color scheme with “Grigio Acheso” and “Grigio Teca” external colors. Rosso Mimir matte red is used as a highlight in select areas like the front fascia.
The roadster is technically a three-tone scheme if you count the exposed carbon fiber roof as one of the colors. A combination of “Blu Tawaret” and “Blu Nethuns” covers the rest of the roadster’s body.
Exclusivity
As one might imagine, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae will be a limited edition model. Only 350 coupes and 250 roadsters will be produced. The first production model is set to make it’s world debut on the first day of the Goodwood Festival of Speed starting July 8th, 2021.
No pricing or release information was provided by Lamborghini but chances are with only 600 cars total up for grabs, they are likely already sold out. Though, you could always hit up your local Lambo dealer just to check.
