Hype News: Two A-Holes May Get 180 Days In Jail For Stealing Parts Of The Porsche From Paul Walker’s Crash Because Justice

It was last year that the world learned of the tragic death of Paul Walker.  His death meant the loss of a son, a brother, and a father to his family, the world losing a great humanitarian, and not to mention the car community losing one of its nicest members.  Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas died in an accident last November when Rodas lost control of a Porsche Carrera GT and hit a light pole.  The car, burned and mangled from the impact was towed away from the scene of the crash and was possibly on its way to local law enforcement for the purposes of investigation.

However, the very night of the accident two idiots: Jameson Brooks Witty (18) and Anthony Edward Janow (26) came across said tow truck and stole one of the removable roof panels from the car.  Then, in a blinding display of miraculous stupidity Jason Witty posted a picture of the panel on his Instagram account saying “Piece of Paul Walker’s car, took it off a tow truck at a stop light” and actually used the hashtag “#ComeUp”!  Naturally he got flamed hardcore for doing something so insensitive and stupid so he posted again claiming that he was going to use the panel as part of a memorial (yeah, sure buddy).

Naturally with all the evidence needed provided by the culprit themselves law enforcement eventually caught the two and booked them.  This past Tuesday was their day in court and they both pleaded no contest.  As a result they could both possibly get up to 180 days in jail.  Hopefully they learn a thing or two about respect while they are in there…. You know, in between the times they are trying to avoid becoming human currency for hardened inmates.
