Hot Wheels Unleashed is still a few months away from release but we’ve been getting a steady stream of new information since it was announced.
In case you missed it, Hot Wheels Unleashed is a new racing game slated to release later this year. The game allows players to pick virtual versions of real Hot Wheels diecast cars and race them on the iconic orange Hot Wheels tracks in crazy environments that is to scale to the 1:64 toy cars.
Players can drift, boost, dodge obstacles, go off giant jumps, and even build their own courses with a track editor.
The developers have been revealing new looks at previously unseen environments and cars periodically and recently they showed off the Skate Park environment for the first time.
Imagine being able to take over an entire skate park and build the most elaborate Hot Wheels course ever and that seems to have been the inspiration for this environment.
This environment also seems to be home to previously unseen obstacles like fans that try to blow cars off track and a giant red dinosaur because why not?
We also get a look at more of the Hot Wheels cars that will be included at launch including: Bad to the Blade, Hot Wheels High™, Veloci-Racer™, Solid Muscle™, Tur-Bone Charged™, Roller Toaster™, and Time Attaxi™.
Those cars are part of the 60+ that will be available when the game launches later this year.
