SEMA 2016: Up Close With Gurnade’s Hyundai Veloster

#We showed you a preview of this Veloster in the weeks leading up to SEMA and it sure appears that the team at Gurnade kept incredibly true to their concept rendering.  Gurnade’s take on the Veloster seems to be all about giving it a race car vibe while remaining unquestionably a street car.  The gold Rotiform wheels and the “Magic Magenta” paint make sure of that.  Modifications are light in the performance department as the main power-adder is an ECU tune from 845 Motorsports but if someone told me this car had 600hp I’d be inclined to believe it just by the looks of it.

Lightner Motorsports are responsible for the wide flares at the corners that give the Veloster its stance and as mentioned earlier the wheel wells are filled with Rotiform wheels wrapped in Toyo Tires.

All together I think it makes a pretty neat package.  It also really makes me miss John Pangilinan’s Veloster from a few years back!  Click the thumbnails to get HD resolution pictures of the build and check below for the official spec sheet.  After you check all that out, let us know what you think of the Gurnade Veloster Concept by commenting below or tweeting to us @MotorworldHype.
