Today Lexus dropped a vague-ish image of what they say will be the next “F” car. What that really means is that the 2015 IS-F is on the way. While the released image (click on thumbnail below) doesn’t show much, a keen eye can see nods to the current and previous IS-F’s in the lines. As you may have guessed, I am excited about this as the IS-F sedan has a special place in my heart.
So far Lexus hasn’t released any further information about this F car other than its completely new from the ground up. Could this mean a completely new chassis? Possibly. Personally I just want to know how much they’ve tipped the balance (if any) between its luxury side and its performance side. It would be nice to see the new IS-F be a little less Bruce Banner and a bit more Hulk if you catch my drift. The world will have to wait until January when it will debut at the Detroit Auto Show to know for sure though. I wish they would have debuted it in LA! Oh well.
