Sneek Peak: 2010 Mazdaspeed3

Mazda’s international media site just released the first images of the 2010 Mazda3 MPS (AKA Mazdaspeed3 in the US).  Details are sketchy so far but what we do know is that the car will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.  Right now we can only assume that the next generation Mazdaspeed3 will have the same 263HP 2.3 liter DSI engine that is in the current model. 

Based on what they showed us its clear that they translated the Nagare design language into the new speed3’s front facia.  They also FINALLY added a hood scoop to feed the top mounted intercooler!  I’m pretty impressed with the looks but I’m hoping that isn’t the only thing that will be different from the current model Mazdaspeed3.  I’m crossing my fingers in desperate hope that they decided to give the new model an AWD drivetrain!
