Check it out, Porsche kicks! These are “Tokyo L 2” shoes from Porsche Design and they look pretty fresh.  I’m really feeling the carbon fiber in the heel!  I wonder if dealers would throw in a pair of these if you pick up a GT3 RS?

Just heard through the grapevine that the Fatlace x Alpinestars collab’d Shibuya shoes will finally drop sometime in the second quarter of this year.  Which means these kicks could be available as soon as April hopefully.  That’s just in time for Formula D’s season opener in Long Beach.  Wonder if I’ll see anyone in the paddock sporting these…

These are in my current top 5 favorite kicks right now.  I first saw the Block Manteca 3 at the premere of the Gymkhana TWO video (shoes also made a short cameo in the flick as well) and I was hooked ever since.  I WILL rock these so it is written so shall it be done!

I know usually racing shoes are meant to be worn at the track but sometimes they look so cool that I would rock them as an everyday kicks.  The Alpinestars Tech 1-T US is on the short list of race shoes that I’d wear anywhere.  They’re also a bit cheaper than Alpinestars’ more serious Tech 1-Z US which is also a plus.

It doesn’t matter what you’re into there will be shoes that go along with the culture.  Check out these Pitlanes by Sparco.  They remind me a little of the Sparco Pumas that peeps were sporting a few years ago.  The cool thing about Sparco shoes is that they design the sole to optimize heel-toe shifting.  I’ve heard it really makes a difference!
