I know there are some people who absolutely hate the Ferrari California and typically I’m not one to try and change opinions but dude in stock form I see nothing but beauty. Now I find an entire program by NOVITEC ROSSO and I’m struggling in trying to figure out how some people don’t see the gratuitous amounts of awesome dripping all over this Italian hottie! Besides the light dash of carbon fiber NOVITEC also threw on their NF3 wheels at the corners and for a bit of “ooph” an ECU tune is employed to coax an extra 40hp from the Ferrari’s high revving V8. Oh NOVITEC ROSSO…you can do no wrong in my book..
You gotta love Hamann. They’re never boring! Sometimes they come out with something that not even a mother could love and then they’ll turn around and create something absolutely fresh. Their treatment of the Ferrari Californiais an example of the fresher side of the Hamann spectrum. OK, sure we may have a thing for the white and black color scheme here at MWH but still! I think this treatment would look pretty sweet in any color…except maybe neon pink or something..
Ferrari is always one of my favorite exhibits to vist at the LA Auto Show. Why is it my favorite? Um because there are a bunch of brand spanking new Ferrari’s in it thats why! This year Ferrari dedicated their press conference to talk a little bit more about the Ferrari California that was released earlier this year. Ferrari flew over their head of Product Planning to discuss the numbers of the California, some technical aspects, and a little about the philosophy behind the car. We laughed, we cried then we had cheese, wine and crackers.
One of the coolest things about the exhibit however were displays of a few Ferrari accessories like a carbon fiber cigar box. They also had all of their custom steering wheel options on display as well as a few of their brake caliper color options. Once again Ferrari classes it up in LA. Their exhibit is a definte must see if you’re going to visit the LA Auto Show. Also if any of the Ferrari accessories catch your fancy do some christmas shopping at FerrariStore.com.

This weekend a horde of exotic and supercars will converge at Fred Segal on Melrose in Los Angeles, CA to kick off the Targa Trophy. What’s the Targa Trophy? Imagine all the cars you wish you could afford driving along 180 miles of the best roads in So Cal while along the way stopping at a few posh hotels and fancy resturants. I’d sign up but I’m taking my Bugatti Veyron in for an oil change (you get the joke? its funny because I dont have one!). They’d probably frown upon anyone who tried to follow the rally in their Civic Si but that doesn’t mean you cant head down to melrose to watch the kick off and check out the cars.
Check this out. Ferrari is webcasting the simultainous European and North American debuts of their new Ferrari California coupe. We’re not sure who will be at the North American premere, but in Europe are the likes of Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen, and Felipe Massa.
