It has been a long while since I’ve posted any Password:JDM goodies but that hasn’t stopped them from continuing to produce some fresh stuff. Right now they have a special going on in which you can pick up an entire Mitsubishi Evo X carbon kevlar engine packagefor just under $1,400. That isn’t bad considering the quality of these carbon kevlar pieces!
So what do you get in the package? It comes with: cold air intake box, aluminum MAF with velocity stack, high-flow reusable air filter, radiator cooling plate with integrated ram air scoops, engine cover, spark plug cover, and all the hardware you need to mount it on.

Skunk2 just dropped another item in their “Black Series” line. The newest bit is a billet wire cover meant for B-Series Honda engines. I sense a new trend here! Blackbillet is sexy!

Sometimes we take the little things for granted until they’re gone. Like the oil filler cap for example. The only time we pay attention to it is when we change the oil and don’t think about it otherwise but if it breaks and oil spews out all over the engine bay we would wish we paid more attention to that little cap! That is why I like to see cool little bits like Cosworth’s oil filler cap. This cap is made from solid aluminum so it wont break and they made it look good too! The only downside is that this cap is just for Subaru’s but hey, if you write them an angry drunken email they might start producing these for your application too! Actually, nevermind don’t do that…If you do just don’t tell them I put you up to it..

Skunk2 is so legit that I could go on for several posts about how awesome their company is. So when a company so legit makes something like a battery tie down, and then turns that same tie down into a limited edition by making it flat black you almost have to be cautious of the level of legit getting so high that it might cause an explosion of awesome under your hood.

A good cooling plate for your radiator really gives you the best of both worlds. If it’s made correctly it will actually provide a cooling benefit for your radiator and typically a well made cooling plate also looks really, really cool under the hood. This dry carbon cooling plate by Password:JDM for the 370Z heavily leans towards the legit side. And, since it is made from dry carbon it is a lot lighter than a regular carbon fiber piece that’s been slathered with a crappy clear coat.

Yes, it’s another GT-R part…get used to it! I can’t help it if no one has made any crappy stuff for the GT-R yet. So far its allll quality! The latest item I’ve stumbled upon is TiTek’s matte carbon fiber engine cover. It pulls off a tough look when its so easy for things to go cheesey when you do this kind of thing. I give them props! They should up the applications for things like this.

I love limited edition stuff, even if its just an oil cap. I also like billet-anything! So this limited edition billet oil cap from Skunk2 is totally on my FRESH list. As you can imagine, with this being a Skunk2 product this oil cap is meant for Honda and Acura applications. But hey, if you email these guys enough you might be able to convince them to make these for other makes too.
