I love it when Formula D comes to Long Beach or Irwindale because both areas are pretty close to us but it is a total bummer when Formula Drift is out of town and I have to hover over twitter or call up one of our ninjas to get current info.  Well thanks to YoParts.com and Formula D those days are over!  Formula Drift has just announced “DRIFTStream 2010″.  Now you can see each round LIVE by either watching the feed on Formula Drift’s website, installing the DRIFTStream app on your facebook page, or even on your smart phone!

Check out the official debut video of Irishman Dean Kearney’s V-LED/Intec Racing sponsored Nissan S14 240SX shot and edited by our friend Ross “Dead Pirate” Fairfield.  From the looks of this flick Dean’s S14 is ready to rock at Long Beach.  I just wish it was at tech day so I could have got a better look but, this video will do for now.

Falken Tire rented out Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina and shipped out the bulk of their drift team to shake down their cars before the 2010 Formula Drift season kicks off in Long Beach, CA next month.  The video below is Irishman Darren McNamara testing is 800HP V8 Saturn Sky built by Autosport Dynamics. 

I love the somewhat raw nature of this video and the awesome angles thanks to the GoPro cameras on board and in Darren’s helmet.  You even get a close up view of Darren flipping the bird!  Awesome!  Falken TIre says his Saturn Sky is now pushing 800HP and from the growl coming from its LS series V8 I’m inclined to believe it.   This is an awesome on-board-camera ride to take so turn up your speakers and enjoy!

P.S. If you’re wondering why the Saturn Sky is right-hand drive that’s because Darren, being from Ireland is used to driving right-hand cars so ASD fab’d up a whole new dashboard to make driving the Sky as comfortable as possible for him.

I’ve been waiting for this!  Hot off the interwebs is the first ever video of Mike Essa testing his new M5 V10 powered BMW 335i at what appears to be Willow Springs Raceway.  If you have surround sound you’re going to want to turn those speakers up.

I was on a search for some legit drift videos and I found this gem by Clash Productions on Motormavens.com.  The screen shot above says it all.  If your a red-blooded male with a beating heart in your chest this video is well worth five and a half minutes of your life.  Trust me!
