As such, they became huge fans of the ultimate symbol of manhood; the Mustache. They love the ‘stache so much that they have started a competition, a ” ‘stache off” if you will. What are the rules? Simple. Start growing your mustache now and style it in the most manly fashion you can think of. Then take gratuitous photos of your lip carpet and submit the pictures on the COBB Tuning forums. Rejoice bimmer fanatics! If you have the current 335xi or the 535xi you can now use the COBB Tuning Access Port! It was just announced yesterdaythat the brains at COBB have successfully tuned their own personal bimmers with a custom access port map and it works just fine. So far you can run stage 1 applications on automatic or manual transmission cars but as time goes on I’m sure stage 2 applications will be available.

COBB Tuning just announced that due to increased “production efficiency” they’re able to drop prices on the AccessPORT module for a ton of applications. This isn’t some wack 20 dollar drop either, each application on the list got a price drop of at least $100! Some Infiniti, Honda, and Mazda applications even got a $200 drop! Mitsubishi fans throw your hands up! COBB Tuning finally dropped an AccessPORT unit for the Mitsubishi Evo X! It comes in just under 700 bucks and has 126 tuning maps available with undoubtedly more on the way.
By now we all know that the current Nissan GT-R is pretty much a super hero. It vengefully fights crime at night while disguising itself as a billionaire playboy during the day. However COBB Tuning wanted to see if there were even more extraordinary abilities that we don’t yet know about. So, they went forward with an experiment that some might call controversial. They worked their tuning magic to see how well a GT-R would run on E85 Ethanol fuel. The result? Try 574HP at the wheels! COBB Tuning just dropped a new blow off valve for Subaru’s and the Mazdaspeed3. Interesting mix yes? The new blow-off valve dubbed the “XLE” can function in three different modes: full recirculation, full atmosphere, and a hybrid mode that combines both plumbing configurations. The XLE is on a limited edition run so if you want one you better take swift action before they’re gone.
Cobb Tuning has a new yet “limited” edition of their SS cat-back exhaust for the Mitsubishi Evo X. This unit is rocking a 3″ inch diameter made from 304 aluminum and has a straight through design. This is definitely a quality piece but Cobb Tuning is only doing a limited run of 50 so if you want one you better pick it up now-ish.
