Vorsteiner just released a brand new box of carbon fiber candy in the form of an aero package for the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG and it is freakin’ sweet! It starts up front with a lip spoiler, then fininshes off with a rear deck lid spoiler and rear diffuser.  This set up looks so fresh, especially with the new V-101 wheels at the corners!

Press Release:

Vorsteiner debuts the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG Aero Package

Pressing onward with the latest in our Mercedes Benz lineage, Vorsteiner is proud to announce the advent of the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG Aero Package. Respectfully following the CLK Black’s heritage, the C63 AMG Aero Package has been meticulously designed and tested to meet Vorsteiner standards of quality, both in style and performance.

Every component in the C63 AMG package is created using a state-of-the-art aerospace autoclave system which utilizes a resin pre-impregnated, vacuum-formed carbon fiber. This results in an up to 30% stiffer and stronger structure when compared to an equivalent wet-lay product.

The C63 AMG Front Spoiler borrows accents from the CLK Black Series while maintaining a genuine C63 feel, graciously contouring the front AMG factory bumper. In its design, the form follows function while considerably increasing downforce to the front of the vehicle using lightweight carbon fiber.

The C63 AMG Rear Diffuser provides an aggressive appearance to the rear of the vehicle, sporting a dual-fin diffuser system. The diffuser is further enhanced by a central vent, cooling the exhaust while accentuating the bumper in a subtle, yet bold manner.

The final component in the C63 AMG Package, the Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler, arms the C63 with bold distinction as an homage to the sportiness of  the CLK Black. The carbon fiber spoiler imparts its statement through the addition of downforce, flawlessly complementing the front spoiler, both in elegance and purpose.

Our C63 AMG features the Vorsteiner V-101 Monoblock Forged wheel. The V-101 design features an 8 twin spoke mesh, extending out to the edge of the wheel, enhancing the overall appearance and form. The tire of choice is nothing less than best with the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 that aid in gripping the road for optimal acceleration and handling.

Front and rear wheel dimensions are available in 20×8.5 inch and 20×9.5 inch or 19×8.5 inch and 19×9.5, respectively, providing an aggressive powerful stance.

The V-101 is available in the following finishes:

  • Brushed Aluminum
  • Chrome
  • Gunmetal
  • Black
  • Silver
  • Textured Black
  • Texture Gunmetal

Custom finishes are available on request.

The V-101 includes Vorsteiner anodized aluminum carbon fiber center caps.

Knight Sports Carbon Fiber Front Lip For 2009-2010 Mazda RX-8

Posted on 01.20.10 | Andrew Beckford No Comments

With Tokyo Auto Salon in full effect right now I decided to comb through the “JDM” folder in my browser favorites just to see if there was anything new out there, or new to me anyway.  I knew right away that Knight Sports wouldn’t disappoint.  Even though the re-freshed Mazda RX-8 has been out for a little while there hasn’t been much exterior support for it so I was glad to see that Knight Sports has produced a front lip.  Their lip really sets off the already aggressive design of the OEM front end and adds a new personality to it.   The only problem is I don’t know of any Knight Sport distributors in the states so I have no idea how one would be able to get their hands on one of these unless you are fluent in Japanese and/or “know a guy!”  Ah well, its still nice to know its out there…

Tommy Kaira GT-R

Posted on 01.15.10 | Andrew Beckford No Comments

I know this is a bit random but its kind of a slow auto news day.  So when I was doing my aimless Internet trolling I found a few pics from the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon (RJ is there right now) and I saw a familiar name “Tommy Kaira.”  Remember them?  They’re making something of a come back at this year’s TAS with a GT-R body kit (as seen above).  The styling is pretty wild but it not enough to set off my “wack-sauce” alarm.  Although, I’m not sure I’d rock it when I could get the Ventross kit.  What do you guys think?

The BMW 3 series coupe just got better!  Vorsteiner finally dropped their M-Tech Aero Package for the E92 a few days ago.  If you couldn’t pony up for the M3 this is the next best thing asthetically.  We’re still waiting for more info on the new aero package but expect the same high quality carbon fiber construction that Vorsteiner is known for.  As soon as we get more of the deets on the new package we’ll pass it on ASAP.

Press Release:

Vorsteiner V-MS Aerodynamic Package for BMW E92 Coupé

With the growing popularity of the factory M-Tech aero packages amongst standard order cars, an all-new V-MS (Vorsteiner M-Tech Series) collection has been developed for our distinct group of M-Tech car owners worldwide.

The V-MS Aero package is designed to be simple and easily installed onto the factory bumpers to enhance the performance and sportiness of the existing factory M-Tech package.

The V-MS Aero package is currently available for the BMW E92 Coupe and E93 Cabriolet models and the E90 Sedan models are currently under development, slated to release mid 2010.

Up front, the V-MS coupe shows off a functionally designed 2-piece front add-on splitters constructed of pre-preg autoclave carbon fiber. The V-MS 2-piece front splitters slightly extends the profile of the factory front bumper to further aid in down force while adding a stylish sporty element to the front end. The outer surrounding areas of the splitters are designed to be painted to give an integrated and clean factory look while the exposed carbon fiber areas pay homage to the racing heritage.

The rear bumper is complemented with a totally redesigned replacement carbon fiber rear diffuser that simply attaches to the factory mounting points. The new sporty carbon fiber rear diffuser houses a centrally placed exhaust ventilation opening which aids in cooling the exhaust system. The diffuser also has 2 integrated aero fins placed next to the air vent to improve airflow and downforce.

Optional items not illustrated in our demonstration vehicle are a carbon fiber deck lid spoiler and 19″ & 20″ forged 3-Piece and 1-Piece Monoblock wheels.

The V-MS aero package will be available worldwide starting in January 10th 2010 through select authorized Vorsteiner dealers.

Premier 4509 Ferrari 360 Modena

Posted on 12.22.09 | Andrew Beckford No Comments

With Ferrari already making it up to 458 with the new Italia, there may be some 360 Modena owners out there looking to freshen up their look. Just in time for the new year Premier 4509 has announced a new body kit for the 360 that adds some more aggression to the stock lines. There is also a bit of carbon fiber here and there which finishes up the kit nicely. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was in the $10k range.

Even though Vorsteiner has expaned their offerings to Bentley’s and even some Japanese performance cars (ala Ventross) they still remain true to Porsche.  The latest design from the house of Vorsteiner is tailored for the Porsche Carrera MKII.  This package that consists of an add on front spoiler which extends slightly furter than factory and includs integrated brake ducks, a rear diffuser, and an optional carbon fiber roof.  I should also mention that the front spoiler and rear diffuser are also made from pre-preg autoclave carbon fiber as well.  This is definitely a nice set up if you’re pushing a Carrera right now.

Vorsteiner Bentley Continental GT BR9

Posted on 11.10.09 | Andrew Beckford No Comments

Vorsteiner just dropped some new aero for the Bentley Continental GT at this year’s SEMA show.  Slightly inspired by the Continental Supersports the Vorsteiner set up features a few extra functional scoops in the front to direct fresh air to the intercoolers.  The new look definitely ads some grunt to the otherwise understated lines of the Bentley Continental.  As with everything from Vorsteiner all the pieces of this kit are available in their famous vacuum bagged dry carbon fiber.

Posted on 10.29.09 | Brian Khou No Comments

With drifting being all the rage, usually when we hear BN Sports we think of their body kits on a slammed Nissan 240 or RX-7.  However! What many people don’t know is that they have a kit for the EG Civic!  Look at how phat it looks!  It just sits there all aggressive and is like “screw sideways man..I’m a Civic and I rock.”

Chargespeed Widebody Kit For Subaru WRX GRB

Posted on 10.28.09 | Andrew Beckford No Comments

I swear under all that vinyl and yellow paint is a cool looking WRX widebody kit.  Sometimes Chargespeed’s presentation is questionable but they still make good stuff.  My favorite part about this widebody kit?  No awkward grill scoop! I’m glad someone finally gets it!
