WALD is in my opinion one of the most interesting Japanese body kit makers out there. Like a few of the German aero tuners, WALD is very hit or miss. When they miss it’s way off! But when they hit, it is so dead on fresh that it’s scary. To me, the Sports Line body kit they have for the new F01/02 BMW 7 Series is a definite hit. I know there will be more than a few of you who disagree with me but I think this kit compliments the new 7 series beautifully. However it does have its downsides. First of all if you want to get this kit in carbon fiber you can forget it. The sports line kit is FRP only. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it certainly isn’t the best material you can get. Secondly this is WALD we’re talking about so you would be hard pressed to find a distributor here in the U.S. that can get you this kit. If you do find someone I can guarantee it will not be cheap! Trying to get your hands on this kit will definitely be a labor of love. Otherwise if you would rather have something stronger, more subtle, and a bit easier to get then look into Vorsteiner’s F01/02 dry carbon fiber lip kit.

STILLEN 2010 Chevy Camaro Body Kit
Most of us know STILLEN for their Nissan products but recently they’ve been branching out, even into muscle cars! Check out their body kit for the 2010 Camaro. It really emphasizes the mean body lines but adds even more aggression with the front splitter. Bumblebee should rock this kit in the next Transformers movie! If you have a Camaro and you want to order up this kit I suggest you hit up James Ouk at STILLEN (jameso@stillen.com) and he’ll take care of you.

Eisenmann “Spark Eight” Package For Audi R8
If you’re a Euro car freak then you’re probably familar with Eisenmann in Germany. They typically only do exhausts but recently they’ve felt compelled to do a complete Audi R8 tuning package dubbed the “Spark Eight”. Whimiscal name, is it not? In addition to some carbon fiber aero pieces Eisenmann also threw in some stiffer shocks and of course their signature exhaust system. While the look they went for is a bit off the beaten path, I can’t find too much to argue with here. Can you?
Press Release:
Audi R8 becomes Spark Eight by Eisenmann
- The first completely refined car by the exhaust system specialist
- Aerodynamic package, entirely made from carbon
- Performance exhaust system with flap controls produces roaring sound
- Its development profits from the experience gathered in racing
Eisenmann has long been the acme of superior performance exhaust systems. For the first time the exhaust specialist has transformed an entire vehicle. The highest standards, which are hallmarks of Eisenmann, also apply to the carbon aerodynamic package, the alloy wheels, the chassis, and of course the exhaust system. This converts the Audi R8 into the Spark Eight by Eisenmann.
Not only does the aerodynamic package contribute to its ultimate visual effect, it also improves the functionality of the super sports car from Ingolstadt. The components significantly improve the driving dynamics and the load distribution between front and rear axle. The new carbon outfit includes the spoiler with grille and fins (7800 Euro including VAT), the brake cooling chambers (1260 Euro), the front splitter (1800 Euro), the rear spoiler with grille (4800 Euro), and the rear diffuser (3800 Euro).
It goes without saying that exhaust systems are the domain of Eisenmann. The Spark Eight by Eisenmann is fitted with a performance stainless steal system, with a gigantic tailpipe exit in the center of the rear spoiler (4600 Euro). This warrants a one-of-a-kind visual effect. Thanks to the flap control system, sound and optimal performance can be controlled with the push of a button. As an alternative Eisenmann offers an exhaust system with four stainless steel tailpipes (3800 Euro) that can be combined with the standard rear spoiler. The retro-classic intake funnel (1200 Euro) and the two oval tailpipes (1000 Euro) provide the look of the R10.
Eisenmann also ensures that the improved chassis matches the upgrade of visual effect and sound. The new shock absorbers with four performance springs (3850 Euro) increase the driving dynamic for even more agile handling characteristics. The 235/35 (front) and 315/30 (rear) tyres mounted on 8.5×19 inch alloy wheels ensure a solid grip (complete set available for 7300 Euro).
For the Spark Eight by Eisenmann, visual appearance, sound and performance enter into a perfect symbiosis. All of the above is based on experience Eisenmann has amassed in motoring. Many years of research and development for racetracks and motorways alike have merged into an unrivaled project. Components and the complete conversion package are exclusively available at Eisenmann and on the Web at www.eisenmann-sportauspuff.de

Vorsteiner GTRS3 Package World Debut (With Video)
Vorsteiner just pulled the curtain off their latest creation dubbed the “GTRS3“. This tuning program for the E92 M3 is one of the FRESHEST aero treatments I’ve seen in a long time! But the GTRS3 is beyond just a body kit. It also includes Vorsteiner concave V-308 three piece forged wheels to fill in all that delicious rear fender arch space. The package also includes special German flag colored BMW roundels and other badging. This set up is THE WAY TO GO if you are looking to go full-on with your E92 M3.
Press Release:
Vorsteiner announces the world debut of the GTRS3 M3 Widebody Aero Package
Vorsteiner is proud to announce the world debut of the GTRS3 M3 Widebody Coupe. The GTRS3 represents a breathtaking leap into the more intrepid side of our GTS model, pronounced by the GTRS3′s exaggerated wide body stance.
The GTRS3′s all-new aerodynamic package is summed up by the GTRS3 Carbon Fiber Front Bumper, GTRS3 Carbon Fiber Front Fenders, GTRS3 Carbon Fiber Side Skirts, GTRS3 Carbon Fiber Extended Rear Quarter Panels, and the GTRS3 Carbon Fiber Rear Bumper.
The GTRS3 Carbon Fiber Front Bumper features a wider, race car-like stance with our trademark GTS Carbon Fiber Front Spoiler. The GTS Carbon Fiber Spoiler may be replaced as a separate unit in the event that it is ever damaged without disrupting the front bumper. Its aggressive lines flow smoothly into the GTRS3 Carbon Fiber Front Fenders, which are accented by the vertical vents allowing for greater air flow to cool down the front large disc monobloc brakes from Brembo.
From the front fenders, the aggressive lines are maintained by the GTRS3 Carbon Fiber Side Skirts. The GTRS3 Side Skirts keep the new added width, enhancing the air flow and reducing drag. The GTRS3 Side Skirts are followed fluidly by the GTRS3 Carbon Fiber Extended Rear Quarter Panels that house the V-308 20 inch forged 3-piece wheels with its 12.5J width and massive Michelin PS2 Tires in 325/25ZR20. The GTRS3 Extended Rear Quarter Panels present an imposing race car like stance, complemented by the GTRS3 Carbon Fiber Rear Bumper.
The GTRS3 Rear Bumper features dual side vents at the rear wheel well as well as a large integrated optical carbon fiber rear diffuser with dual aero fins.
The GTRS3 M3 Widebody Aero Package comes standard with a choice of 1-piece or 3-Piece Vorsteiner wheels as well as Michelin PS2 Sport tires as part of the overall package.
The demonstration vehicle also features a forced induction power kit from VF Engineering that takes the stock E92 M3 coupe from 414bhp to 600bhp on 91 octane gasoline that has been custom software tuned by GIAC.
The custom matte green paint work and installation has been exclusively performed by C&C Collision based out of Pasadena, California. C&C Collision Inc. has also been selected as the exclusive installer for the GTRS3 kit within North America.
The GTRS3 Coupe package is our flagship product within the BMW product lineup with only 100 examples being produced worldwide with individual serial identification plates & badges which will be included with the car.
Our valued technology partners in creating the GTRS3 Coupe includes:
- VF Engineering
- C&C Collision
- Brembo
- GIAC
- Michelin Tires
- KW Suspension
The GTRS3 is now available for customer orders through our qualified Premier authorized Vorsteiner dealers worldwide. For more information please visit our website at: www.vorsteiner.com/gtrs3

Hype Preview: Vorsteiner V-PT Package For Porsche Panamera Turbo
I am not a fan of the Porsche Panamera. I can appreciate its performance and the fact that Porsche decided to get out of their comfort zone but I just can not wrap my head around a Porsche…wagon. Maybe I’m crazy or maybe Porsche is crazy who knows!? Although I must admit when I caught wind that Vorsteiner is working on an aero package for the Panamera Turbo dubbed the “V-PT” I got excited. I figure if anyone can change my mind about the Panamera’s looks it would be Vorsteiner. As soon as we get a glimpse at the finished product we’ll let you guys in on it.

Hype Preview: BMW X6M By Vorsteiner
Our pals over at Vorsteiner are working on a new aero treatment for the BMW X6 dubbed the X6M. It isn’t quite ready to drop yet but they hit us with these preview shots before it goes for sale. This package is going to be produced from pre-preg vaccum dry carbon fiber like all of Vorsteiner’s stuff so you know it will be high quality. The styling of this kit is definitely tough. I wouldn’t fu*k with the soccer mom that is rocking this set up.
Press Release:
Exclusive Sneak Peek of the BMW X6M by Vorsteiner
With BMW’s commencement into the SUV market with its X series comes Vorsteiner’s debut of the design of the BMW X6M VRS Aero Package. As with every quality Vorsteiner product, the X6M Aero Package will be composed of resin pre-impregnated, vacuum-formed carbon fiber, utilized by a state-of-the-art aerospace autoclave system. This results in an up to 30% stiffer and stronger structure when compared to an equivalent wet-lay product.
The components making up the X6M Aero Package consists of:
VRS Carbon Fiber Add-On Front Spoiler
- VRS Carbon Fiber Vented Hood
- VRS Carbon Fiber Roof Spoiler
- VRS Carbon Fiber Deck Lid Spoiler
- VRS Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser
The VRS Carbon Fiber Add-On Front Spoiler takes a new step in styling, outlining the front center grill in carbon fiber, complementing the aggressive fascia of the X6M. The Add-On Front Spoiler markedly increases front-end downforce, enhancing performance and presence.
The VRS Carbon Fiber Vented Hood further enhances the front end performance by eliminating 40% of the factory hood weight as well as hot air away from the engine. The Vented Hood precisely follows the shut lines and contours of the original hood, while augmenting its elegant appearance, adding a sporty edge with its carbon fiber vents and its re-sculpted power dome.
Making use of the grandeur of the X6M, our VRS Roof Spoiler further adds to the form and function of the vehicle, accenting the roof and rear windshield while improving airflow over the top and behind the vehicle. At the same time, it cooperates with the VRS Carbon Fiber Deck Lid Spoiler, directing a high-pressure air stream along the rear end of the vehicle.
Lastly the VRS Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser adds a finishing touch to the Aero Package. The newly designed diffuser emphasizes the shape of the rear bumper and exhaust while showcasing a functional “race bred” diffuser fins that flows into the under carriage of the vehicle.
The BMW X6M shown features our One-Piece Forged V-102 Wheels in 23 inches in a Satin Brushed Aluminum finish with Michelin Tires.
This new VRS X6M Aero Package will be available in Summer 2010 at an Authorized Vorsteiner Dealer Center near you.

BF Performance GT600 Based On Lamborghini LP560-4
The guys at BF Performance decided that some people may not be entirely happy with their stock Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. I can’t imagine they found too many of those people but they do exist! So to help them get a little more enjoyment out of their very expensive Italian supercar BF Performance developed a carbon fiber body kit and even an option to convert the all wheel drive system to rear wheel drive for a more sporty feel. All in all I’d say they pulled the job off pretty well. The addition of carbon fiber is almost always a good thing!

Vorsteiner BMW VR-7 Sportiv Aero Package
We can finally pull the curtain off a little side project we’ve developed with Vorsteiner. The aero wizards are using MotorworldHype’s ”Grand Sport Sedan” F01 BMW 7 Series project (AKA ”Biggie”) to show off the new VR-7 Sportiv Aero package. The VR-7 Sportiv Aero package was a design collaboration between RJ and Vorsteiner’s own designers. From the start of this project RJ and Vorsteiner wanted the Sportiv Aero package to be an example of a performance asthetic driven by subtlety and I’m going to go ahead and say I think we pulled it off. We wouldn’t have been able to bring “Biggie” along this far without the help of Vorsteiner, Michelin, H&R Springs, and Street Concepts! Thanks to all of our partners for their support!
Press Release:
Vorsteiner releases the VR-7 Sportiv Aero Package
Vorsteiner is proud to announce the release of the BMW VR-7 Sportiv Aero Package for the BMW F01 & F02 7 Series. Vorsteiner specializes in developing aero enhancements that complement BMW’s line of vehicles and the VR-7 Sportiv Aero Package continues Vorsteiner’s philosophy of sporty yet understated elegance. The Vorsteiner Package enhances the shape and form of the BMW 7 Series with the addition of the VR-7 Carbon Fiber Add-On Front Spoiler, the VR-7 Carbon Fiber Add-On Rear Spoiler, and the change to VR-7 Carbon Fiber Replacement Rear Diffuser.
The VR-7 Add-On Front Spoiler lends its more aggressive lines to the front fascia of the elegant 7 Series giving the vehicle a more commanding front profile and sense of sportiness. Not only does the VR-7 Add-On Front Spoiler provides for a more prominent and confident tone in the overall front-end design but it also adds an increase in front-end downforce and stability.
The VR-7 Replacement Diffuser takes on a new motif, featuring subtle contours, edges, and indentations that complement the body lines of the new 750i yet contribute to its new sportive attitude . Its bold undertones perfectly embody Vorsteiner’s traditional of blending purpose, function, and distinctive style.
The featured BMW 750i is equipped with 21 inch Vorsteiner V-102 Forged Monoblock wheels highlighting a concave split five-spoke design that extends to the outer edge of the wheel, which continues to exemplify Vorsteiner’s goal to create a stature of sportiness. The front and rear wheel dimensions are more assertive and measure in at 21″ x 9″ (front) and 21″ x 10.5″ (rear). The wheels shown are fitted with Vorsteiner recommended Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. Tire Specs come in at 255/30-21 for the front and 285/30-21 for the rear. The stance of the vehicle was further enhanced by H&R’s super sport suspension package, lowering it by 48 mm.
The V-102 is available in the following finishes:
- Brushed Aluminum
- Chrome
- Gunmetal
- Black
- Silver
- Textured Black
- Texture Gunmetal
Custom finishes are available on request.

Power House Amuse Nissan 370Z Vestito Aero Kit
I honestly did not think Power House Amuse would be able to top the Superleggera arero that was tailor made for the 350Z (Z33). However I can happily say I stand corrected! Their new Vestito kit for the Nissan 370Z is one of the freshest aero treatments I’ve seen on ANY car! I am sure some will probably think this is too much, too wide, etc but to me the lines are perfectly balanced.
As far as I know, you can’t buy the Vestito kit in America yet but, I would be willing to bet that if anyone has it or is going to get it, it will probably be Bulletproof Automotive and/or Evasive Motorsports. If you have the cash (I’m guessing this kit will go for at least $10k) I would jump on the phone with one or both of those shops and see what you can do about a pre-order ASAP.
