We just got word that later this year the last round of Formula Drift will be re-broad-casted in 3D on Direct TV’s “n3D” channel. This marks the first time a drifting event, perhaps any motor sport event is broad-casted in 3D. Of course in order to get the full effect you’ll need a 3D television and probably a few other 3D capable peripherals; all of which I don’t have! But hey I am all about progress. Even though I probably won’t get to enjoy the 3D broadcast myself I am glad to see that drifting is at the forefront of something like this. So just to re-cap: If you have a 3D television you get to watch Formula Drift Round 7 in 3D later this year. If you do NOT have a 3D television then I suggest buying tickets to the event so you can just be there yourself. If neither of those are a viable solution there is always the third option of making friends with someone who does have a 3D TV and inviting yourself over at the opportune time!
