Indy Car’s Official Twitter Is Trolling The Bachelorette And Its Amazing
If you had told me 20 minutes ago that I’d be writing a tweet about Indy Car and The Bachelorette on this website I’d say you were crazy. Yet, here we are.
But, how did we get here? Allow me to explain.
It turns out that the victory banquet (which also honored a local hero) for the Indianapolis 500 pre-empted a broadcast of “The Bachelorette” in Indianapolis and the show’s host Chris Harrison felt like he should join in what he assumed would be massive pro-Bachelorette outrage on twitter as seen below.
Very sorry to hear #ABC Indianapolis fans are getting screwed over tonight and not getting #TheBachelorette Call your local affiliate and let them know how you feel

Instead, he received a lot of replies expressing gratitude that the Indy 500 banquet was given priority over the “reality” show. Turns out he may have made the wrong call there…
Chris doesn’t seem to know that more often than not, its race fans who get the short end of the stick in these situations so they were enjoying sweet, sweet justice tea.
Here are just a few of the gems sent by Indy Car fans to Mr. Harrison…
You must be joking. An event that is more than 100 years old and so important to a city, state and country is exponentially more important than some “reality” show. And this event that pre-empted your “show” honored a teacher who saved the lives of 40+ children. Shame on you.

I called and thanked them.

I think you get the point…
While the fan responses are Amazing, I think what gives this situation that extra sprinkle of awesome is that the official Indy Car twitter got in on it too…
How’d that tweet go @chrisbharrison??
The replies to this are ???
Greatest fans in racing.?#INDYCAR // #Indy500 https://t.co/WhEXaUISlC

For an extra helping of Irony to go with all that tea it should be noted that this season’s “Bachelorette”, Becca Kufrin was unceremoniously dumped by the previous season’s “Bachelor”, occasional Indy Car driver Arie Luyendyk Jr.
So it looks like this isn’t the first time this show has been screwed over by Indy Car… Goodnight folks! Tip your waiters and waitresses! I’ll be here all week!
