Forza Motorsport 7 To Get New Features Via Major Update

Forza Motorsport 7 is the biggest Forza game that Turn 10 Studios has ever created.  When taking on something that huge, its going to be nearly impossible to please everyone and there may have been somethings that could have been done better.

To their credit, it looks like Turn 10 Studios is taking much of the feedback they’ve received from their hardcore fans and are making several additions to the game via updates that are coming in the near future.

Some of the big changes include visual indicators of where track limits are so drivers know exactly where they can and can’t go when putting down a hot lap.

This is a much welcomed addition.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been trying to set a lap record only to have it all ruined by that damn “!” symbol after I went slightly out of the bounds of the track.

This should greatly reduce those instances!

Additionally, Turn 10 Studios was to make online interactions better by implementing track regulations and penalties.

This is a big deal because unfortunately there are a lot of trolls who enter multiplayer Forza races to purposely ruin the races of others.  Its something the Forza community has dubbed “griefing”.

There will also be an update to the drag race system that allows things to flow more smoothly and get back to racing much faster than what is currently possible.

The new drag racing will start off as an “experimental” mode at first, being limited only to single player.  It will eventually be expanded to multiplayer once Turn 10 gets enough user data.

Even the drifters are getting some love in the update. They didn’t go into a lot of detail but it looks like Turn 10 is going to add the ability modify and increase steering angles.

To see some of these new features in action, check out the video below with Forza Motorsport community manager Brian Ekberg on the “Inside Xbox” show.

After that, we want to hear from you.  Which one of these new features are you the most excited for?  Is there another feature you want them to add? Let us know in the comments or tweet to us at @MotorworldHype.
