Back in August Nissan announced that they would be entering a promotional partnership with Lucasfilm to promote Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as well as the Nissan Rogue SUV. I’m sure you can see the cross over appeal already. Anyway when the announcement was made I predicted that we can probably expect some type of special edition Star Wars-themed Nissan Rogue and today Nissan and Lucasfilm are confirming it.
Its also been confirmed that this special edition Nissan Rogue will make its debut at the LA Auto Show in November, one month before Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theatres. The latest announcement doesn’t really reveal much about what we can expect from this limited edition Rogue but it does confirm that the obligatory special badging will be designed by Lucasfilm artists.
They may reveal more before the big debut but either way I am already pretty excited to see how Star Wars-themed Nissan Rogue will turn out. I will definitely take a closer look at it at the LA Auto Show next month!
