Gaming Hype: Lamborghini Centenario Will Be The Cover Car For The Next Forza Game (Video)
OK, I've been doing a lot of racing game stories lately but it can't be helped since E3 is coming up. Today it was announced that the Lamborghini Centenario, a new model that will likely be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, will be the cover car for the next Forza game coughcoughForzaHorizon3coughcough. As the name suggests the Lamborghini Centenario is a celebration of Lamborghini's 100 year history. Can you believe that? It's really been 100 years since Enzo Ferrari pissed off Ferruccio Lamborghini so much that he went off and started his own car company! I bet the two of them are still arguing over that inferior clutch up in Heaven. Anyway back to the matter at hand! The Centenario will actually be available "First In Forza" which means players of the Horizon Thr-err the new Forza game will get a chance to virtually experience the hyper car before its available for incredibly rich people to buy. Furthermore, since the team at Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft have a bit of an "in" with Lamborghini they have revealed some preliminary numbers for the Centenario. It will have a 770HP naturally aspirated V12 engine, go from 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds, o to 182mph in 25 seconds, and will have a top speed over 217mph. While numbers like that are kind of expected from the likes of Lamborghini, they are still nothing to scoff at. Rumor has it that after the car makes its debut in Geneva in might make a quick trip out to Los Angeles to hang out in Microsoft's booth at E3 this year. If so I'll make sure to get you plenty of tasty pictures. In the meantime you can check out a short but sweet Lamborghini reveal video that Microsoft has put together, along with the official press release about the Centenario becoming the new cover car.
