Hype: Superpowered Jaguar F-TYPE SVR Coupe And Roadster Coming To Geneva (Video)

Anyone who knows me knows that the Jaguar F-TYPE is one of my favorite cars right now.  To me it is easily one of the most beautiful vehicles produced in the last 20 years.  I also really liked that there were two engine options: V6 & V8.  Having personally driven both (in convertible form) I preferred the V6 as it felt more balanced and fun to drive.  However I was in the minority as many reviewers were craving more power to compensate for the F-TYPE’s weight and Jaguar obliged with the “R” models.

Now it looks like Jaguar is taking things a step further as they have announced that a 200mph SVR model that will come in coupe and convertible versions.  Jaguar also refers to the SVR as an “all-weather” supercar so perhaps they are hinting that the new model is all-wheel drive?  We won’t know for sure until next month when Jaguar will release pricing and specs.  The car will then make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1st 2016 so stay tuned!
