RUSH was hands down one of the best racing movies I have ever seen. Chris Hemsworth did a great job playing the legendary James Hunt chasing his rival Niki Lauda (played by Daniel Bruhl) in one of the most dangerous eras of Formula 1 racing. If you haven’t watched the film yet I highly recommend checking it out. You can probably rent it right now on Apple TV or Google play for a few bucks which, trust me, is money well spent! Anyhow, what I really want to tell you all about is that if you did watch the movie, loved it, and want to help a great cause then today is your lucky day!
The racing suit worn by Hemsworth on set during the filming of RUSH is currently up for auction right now with the proceeds going towards Croce Viola, a non-profit volunteer ambulance service in Italy which is trying to raise money to purchase a new emergency vehicle.
The highest bidder gets the racing suit and helps a great cause. The only downside is that it appears that this auction may be only for Europe, however I could be wrong. If you are in America and want to bid I would suggest trying to contact the “Charity Stars” organization first to see if you are eligible. Either way someone is going to end up with a great piece of automobillia and the feeling that comes with doing something good! For more information on the auction hit the source link below.
