Last Friday NOS Energy Drink held a celebrity go-kart challenge at K1 Speed in Ontario, CA to kick off the NASCAR weekend at the California Speedway. This was a charity event that benefited the Kyle Busch Foundation which aids children who need support, a safe place to live, the tools to learn, and an opportunity for education. The event was hosted by Kyle Busch and Chris Forsberg and they, along with 30 other participants raced against celebrities of sports, tv, and movies including William Fichtner, model/actress Kimberley Leemans, MMA fighter Josh Barnett and Chef Holli winner of “Hell’s Kitchen.” Naturally Kyle Busch won the event with the fastest lap of the night but the spoils of victory went to the Kyle Busch Foundation which received a $10,000 contribution from NOS Energy Drink at the end of the event. I love it when motorsports contributes to the greater good!
