Brawn GP did it again! This time with some help from mother nature. Jenson Button started from the pole and when the lights went out he fought off the entire field until the rain started to pour down. The race was red-flagged with 24 laps to go as the track got pounded with monsoon-like rain and wind. Eventually the stewards had to call it. Since Button was leading when the race was stopped he was awarded the win but per Formula 1 regulations everyone who was within a points paying position got only half the points that are normally awarded. Why they do that I don’t know but there ya have it. It seems like the thing to do these days is to run an underfunded team because then you’ll start to kick everyone’s ass!
