Autoblog picked up the sent from CAR magazine and found the first picture of Lotus’ “Eagle” project car. Along with the first picture a few details came to light as well. The Eagle will have a 2+2 seating configuration with two “fixed” seats in the back. Also, the Eagle will be powered by a Toyota V6 instead of the four cylinder engine found in the Elise and Exige models.
Traction control will make its way to the Eagle along with a full leather interior, air conditioning, Alpine stereo system with 7 inch screen, Bluetooth conectivity, and an iPod connection. This is all quite luxurious when compaired to the bare bones race inspired interiors of the Elise and Exige.
Stay tuned to more details on the Eagle when it makes its official debut at the London Motor Show next week.
